Hawaii Safe Travels Program Will Not Require Booster Shots for Domestic Travel

Ray Marrero Waikiki February 9, 2022:

Hawaii Governor David Ige announced on Tuesday that Hawaii's current "Safe Travels" program will continue unchanged. Domestic Travelers will NOT be required to include proof of COVID-19 booster shots. Visitors and returning residents who received their primary COVID-19 vaccination series at least 14 days prior to arrival, or those who provide an acceptable negative test result, will be exempt from the mandatory five-day quarantine. Remember! Effective Nov. 8, non-US citizens must show both vaccination records and negative test results within 3 days of boarding a flight to the US // US citizens need a proof of vaccination + negative test results within 3 days OR negative test results within 1 day of boarding a flight. Here is the link for the most current Hawaii Safe Travel rules. Maui just eased their regulations. Keep checking before you go.--RAM
